I just
wanted send a quick note to thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback to
our tour thus far through Vietnam.
As we stated yesterday the tour
thus far has been exceptional and has met our expectations. We have been able to experience this great
country of Vietnam in a very personal way, in a tight time frame and able to see
the many different areas of this most unique country. Considering how much we have seen over the
last 10 days it has been most amazing and we are leaving with a great love and
appreciation for everything Vietnam. The
schedule that you have created allows your guests to experience the very many
aspects of life, from the floating markets in the Mekong, to the crowded streets
of Saigon, to the beaches of Nha Trang, to the heritage of Hue and Hoian, we
have loved it all. The accommodation has
met our needs; they were clean, safe and very well located in each stop. The food experiences have been most memorable
and we have a whole new appreciation for Vietnamese food. And all the tour
guides have added a more personal relationship with this country and they each
brought their own personality to the tour. Thank you for everything and we have
certainly enjoyed our stay thus far, and it was a pleasure meeting you last
night.
In particular please
thank:
Hui in Saigon: He was a pleasure to be with,
always very upbeat and very knowledgeable.
He speaks excellent English and we certainly enjoyed our Vietnamese
writing lesson in the car.
Lam in Nha Trang: He is a very polite and generous man, who
wanted to show us his country with passion.
He speaks great English and knows his facts very well. We appreciate the warmth we received from him
especially when he snorkelled with Laurence and taught us how to roll pork
rolls.
Loc in Hue: A very knowledgeable man who
truly understand his country. His
experience was evident in the way he handled the days with us as he rescheduled
the tour to make it run smoother. He
really warmed up to us on the last day; he just needed to open up a bit
sooner.
Tang in Hanoi: A very upbeat, spontaneous tour
guide. The most animated of them all and
also speaks and understands English the best.
It was fun to be around and instantly made us feel welcome in the city of
Hanoi. By the way tell him that we saw
the turtle in the lake 5 times this afternoon.
So thank you again for all your
help in organizing the tour and making this a holiday we will always
remember. It has been a great experience
and we will being telling many people about Flamingo Vietnam
